Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute, affiliated to China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., was founded in 1958 and is the birthplace of China's liquid rocket power industry. With the independent innovation and development of China's aerospace industry for more than 60 years, China has developed a variety of liquid rocket engines for strategic missiles and launch vehicles. The first generation hydrogen oxygen engine (yf-73) successfully developed in China has made China one of the few countries in the world that master advanced ultra-low temperature and high-performance propulsion technology, and entered the world's advanced ranks.
